Due To Disgraceful Behavior… Al-Nasr Club Goalkeeper Was Suspended And Fined After The Incidents In His Match Against Al-Hilal (video)

Al-Hilal Club was able to overturn a one-goal deficit to beat its guest, Al-Nasr, by three goals to one, in the match that brought them together last Monday, at the Kingdom Arena.
The match witnessed the expulsion of goalkeeper Nawaf Al-Aqidi, following a violent intervention on Al-Hilal player Ruben Neves while he was trying to take the ball from his net after Al-Hilal scored the equalizer from a penalty kick in the 57th minute.
The Disciplinary and Ethics Committee decided to suspend Nawaf Al-Aqidi, Al-Nasr goalkeeper, for two matches, including an automatic suspension based on a direct red card in all official matches in which he is entitled to participate within the first team competitions, in accordance with Article 48-1-2 of the Disciplinary Regulations.
The committee said that Frenchman François Letexier, the referee of the Al Hilal and Al Nassr match, noted in his report after the match the presence of disgraceful behavior by Al Nasr goalkeeper Nawaf Al Aqidi towards Al Hilal player Ruben Neves.
The goalkeeper was also fined 20,000 riyals, due to “disgraceful behavior” towards the opponent in the Al Hilal match against Al Nasr, according to the referee’s report.
The committee confirmed that the two-match suspension and Al-Aqidi fine of 20,000 riyals is not subject to appeal.
Al-Aqidi will miss Al-Nasr’s matches against Al-Shabab and Damac.
