Unassuming Three-bedroom House In Peterborough Goes On The Market For £240,000 – But People Are Left Gobsmacked At ‘bonkers’ Room Inside

uaetodaynews.com — Unassuming three-bedroom house in Peterborough goes on the market for £240,000 – but people are left gobsmacked at ‘bonkers’ room inside

Property hunters have been left bemused after coming across an unassuming threebedroom home that has a bizarre Coca-Cola-themed shrine inside.

The semi-detached property, located in Peterborough, initially went on the market for a guide price of £240,000 in September.

Upon first glance, the family home appears uninteresting, with the exterior featuring bland grey walls, white PVC trims around the windows and a standard brown painted fence along the front.

However, homebuyers were left gobsmacked when looking through other photos of the property in the online listing.

The shock was caused by a small separate room, distinct from the main living area, which was decorated with a huge amount of Coca-Cola merchandise.

From the floor to the ceiling, every inch of the unusual space was filled to the brim with fan memorabilia for the American company.

The owner of the TikTok account, Housing Horrors, found the home listed online and reacted to the bizarre property in a video.

He said: ‘Tell me you like Coke without telling me you like Coke, because this is absolutely bloody bonkers.

‘To the walls, to the curtains, to the decor, everything is Coca-Cola themed. You would not want to drink a can of Pepsi anywhere near these people because they would kick off,’ he joked.

There was a Coca-Cola mini fridge with limited edition cans of the drink in the unique room, as well as a branded clock and fireplace.

The impressive side table was in the shape of a bottle cap and two bins made to look like Coca-Cola cans were placed in the living space.

Masses of teddy bears wearing branded jumpers and reusable bottles were placed on the shelves, along with posters and a throw to cover up the blue sofa.

Reacting to the property, one delighted person commented on Instagram: ‘I would absolutely be willing to pay an entry fee to visit this room.’

‘Can imagine them in a bar when you ask for coke and they say “It’s Pepsi, is that ok?”,’ joked another individual.

A third said: ‘Well… you can’t say they’re not committed to a theme,’ while a fourth commented: ‘Disappointed the sofa is blue and not red (to be honest).’

Another joked that they would have the ‘holidays are coming’ song on repeat playing on their doorbell, whereas others asked if the property came furnished once sold.

Adding to their Coca-Cola-theme, the owners completed their shrine by painting the feature brick wall a bright, cherry red, to match the memorabilia placed all around.

The kitchen in the home also featured scarlet-coloured worktops, while one of the bedrooms had the same colour theme, paying homage to the fizzy drink company.

Elsewhere, the property, which is being sold by Haart Peterborough, had a rear garden with multiple sheds, vegetable patches, seating areas and a studio.

Upstairs boasted three bedrooms, with the family bathroom located on the ground floor next to the kitchen and Coca-Cola-themed room.

Next to the branded space there was also a separate dining room and a living room in the semi-detached property.
