Bruce Willis’ Daughter Tallulah, 31, Details Torment Over ‘self Hate’ That Made Her Want To ‘end It All’

Tallulah Willis is learning to embrace her chin after years of ‘self-hate’ caused by bullying.

The 31-year-old, who is the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Mooreopened up about her journey to loving her face after being so ashamed to even say the word ‘chin’ out loud.

In a moving post, Tallulah hit out at those who shamed her for inheriting her ‘joyful, expressive feature’ from her dad, who is battling frontotemporal dementia (FTD), a form of dementia that causes a gradual decline in the areas of the brain linked to personality and language abilities.

She also name-dropped blogger Perez Hilton for allegedly perpetuating online bullying.

Daily Mail has reached out to Perez for comment.

‘My Lordy! If I am NOT this man’s child,’ Tallulah said as she shared a carousel of throwback photos of her and her father while pointing out their striking resemblance.

‘Wow this is making me so full and emotional this early Wednesday morning.

‘The face, the smile, dare I say it the chin (hey @perez remember when you bullied a 13-year-old for money?) that made me want to end it all, is now the most precious gift I could be bestowed with.

‘I used to not be able to say the word chin out loud. It was my dirty sinful malady, center stage for all the world to see.

‘At least that’s what you guys said, over and over and over and over. What a cursed child I was for inheriting this joyful, expressive feature, alive with emotion!

‘I’m angry at the adults they planted the seeds of self hate, and I’m proud of myself for the work I’ve to rip that hate out from the roots!’ (sic)

Tallulah’s post was celebrated by her followers, who also praised her beauty.

‘You are your father’s daughter and what a GIFT to be able to look in the mirror and see both his and your face looking back,’ one said.

‘It’s a blessing you’ll continue to be grateful for as the years pass by.’

Another added: ‘How is it ever bad to have inherited features from two of the most beautiful people on the planet. Adults can be sickening. Every inch you inherited is a gift and a blessing. It took thousands of years of ancestors just to create you!’

Perez also replied, writing: ‘Hello, please check your DMs.’

In 2021, Tallulah spoke candidly about her battle with body dysmorphia and how she ‘resented’ being told she looked more like her father than her mother throughout her childhood.

‘I punished myself for not looking like my mom, after being told I was (my father’s) twin since birth,’ she wrote in an Instagram post.

‘I resented the resemblance as I believed wholly my ‘masculine’ face was the sole reason for my unlovability,’ she continued, in reference to looking like her Die Hard actor father, before she denounced the thought with a simple: ‘FALSE.’

Tallulah continued: ‘I was/am inherently valuable and worthy, at any life stage, at any size, with any hair do! (As are you).’
